How to Assign Appraisal Reviewers

This guide shows you how to assign appraisal reviewers — including Sub Appraisers — to employees in NeuHR.

Steps

Section titled “Steps”

  1. Navigate to Settings > Appraisal

    From the sidebar, click Settings to expand the menu, then click Appraisal.

  2. Click the Employees Tab

    On the Appraisal page, click the Employees tab.

  3. View the Appraisal Reviewers Table

    The Appraisal Reviewers page shows all employees with their assigned Main Appraiser and Sub Appraiser columns.

    Use the Select Departments filter to narrow the list to a specific department. In this example, filtering by Human Resources shows Mary Johnson, Susan Taylor, and Vasileios Aten — all with John Smith as their Main Appraiser.

  4. Click the Sub Appraiser Dropdown for the Employee

    In the Sub Appraiser column of the employee’s row, click the Select Sub Reviewers dropdown.

    For this example, click the Select Sub Reviewers dropdown in Susan Taylor’s row.

  5. Select the Sub Appraiser

    Section titled “Select the Sub Appraiser”

    A list of available employees appears. Click on the employee you want to assign as a Sub Appraiser.

  6. Confirm the Selection

    Section titled “Confirm the Selection”

    The selected employee appears in the Selected Employee section at the top of the dropdown. Click the X (close) button to close the dropdown.

  7. Click the Save Icon

    Section titled “Click the Save Icon”

    After closing the dropdown, Mary Johnson appears as a chip in the Sub Appraiser field. Click the save icon (floppy disk) at the right end of the row to save the reviewer assignment.

  8. Approve the Update

    Section titled “Approve the Update”

    A confirmation dialog appears: “Are you sure you want to update the reviewer for Susan Taylor?”

    Click Approve to confirm.

  9. Reviewer Assignments Saved

    Section titled “Reviewer Assignments Saved”

    Repeat steps 4–8 for each employee you want to assign a Sub Appraiser to. Once complete, the Sub Appraiser column shows Mary Johnson for both Susan Taylor and Vasileios Aten.
